From Before to After v2

Three versions of the same building, each one a click apart in the model.

The existing On A Limb Bakery building in 3D: red brick front with wood-shake awnings

01 · Before

The building as it stands

A 3D model of the existing storefront: the red brick front, the wood-shake awnings and the shed beside it, as a baseline for every change.

The After v1 design: light walls, navy trim, three striped awnings and a carved sign

02 · After v1

A cleaned-up, lit storefront

The existing windows and door stay in place. The work:

  • Crack repair and repointing
  • Walls painted a single light color
  • Navy paint on window frames, door, coping and block
  • Three new striped awnings in place of the shake awnings
  • A 15-foot carved main sign with gold lettering
  • Two brass lanterns at the entry
The After v2 design: the After v1 storefront with sign lights, window boxes and a blade sign

03 · After v2

Details that carry into the evening

Everything in After v1, plus:

  • Three brass gooseneck sign lights on a photocell
  • Custom navy window boxes with plants
  • LED strips under the awnings
  • A blade sign on an iron bracket
  • A lantern for the shed
  • Gold door lettering and an A-frame chalkboard

Side by side: After v2, After v1 and Before in one scene, each with its own cost board.

Light, day and night

The front of the building faces west. The model places the sun by date and time of day, so you can see when the storefront is in direct sun and how it looks after dark.

  • Day and night switch
  • Pick a date and drag through the day, or press play
  • A readout of when the storefront gets direct sun
  • Lanterns, sign lights and awning LEDs at night

Why a 3D presentation

See the storefront before you build it.

See it finished, with its price

Each design sits next to its own itemized cost board, so the look and the cost are reviewed together.

One set of numbers

One itemized budget per design means every document about the project can carry the same figures.

A settled design to review

A complete model of the existing and proposed storefront gives owners and reviewers a clear scope before any work starts.
